Season-Ending Jaxson Dart Injury Spurs Trump Curse Debate
x/donald-john-trump
— Sep 23, 2026
Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart will miss the rest of the season after knee surgery, prompting social media users to revive the tongue-in-cheek “Trump Curse” superstition because Dart introduced President Donald Trump at a May rally. Some commentators mocked the timing, while others condemned celebrating or politicizing an athlete’s injury; there is no evidence the supposed curse is real.
