UK universities see 14% rise in antisemitic incidents, report finds

The Community Security Trust recorded 95 antisemitic incidents involving UK universities in 2025/26, up 14% from the prior year and nearly 80% above 2022/23, though below the 272 reported in 2023/24. Most involved abuse, while the two-year report also logged six assaults, two incidents of extreme violence and 16 incidents attributed to university staff; the CST said Jewish students and staff continue to face a serious campus problem.
