Warner Robins metro cities post fastest home price gains
Elko, Georgia led one-year home price gains in the Warner Robins metro area with a rise of $28,437, or 8.6 percent, to a typical value of $360,976. Nationwide, the typical home value in August was $369,678, up 1.3 percent from a year earlier. Kathleen recorded a $9,079 gain (2.5 percent) yet held the metro's highest typical value at $366,559, with Elko second. Bonaire rose $8,956 (3.0 percent) to $304,821; Centerville $8,462 (3.8 percent) to $230,546; Perry $7,310 (2.7 percent) to $276,152; Byron $7,298 (2.8 percent) to $267,102; Fort Valley $6,976 (4.5 percent) to $163,465; Hawkinsville $6,707 (3.7 percent) to $186,022; and Warner Robins $6,350 (3.0 percent) to $215,087. Over five years, gains ranged from $32,285 in Fort Valley to $107,621 in Elko.
