About A. J. Cook
Arthur James Cook was a British trade union leader who served as General Secretary of the Miners' Federation of Great Britain from 1924 until his death in 1931. He became one of the most prominent and controversial figures in the British labour movement during the 1920s, known for his passionate oratory and militant approach to industrial relations.
