About Amymone
In Greek mythology, Amymone was one of the 50 Danaids as a daughter of Danaus, king of Libya. As the "blameless" Danaid, her name identifies her as, perhaps, identical to Hypermnestra : the one Danaid who did not assassinate her husband on their wedding night.
