
Myanmar Airstrike Kills 50, Philippines Offers ASEAN Talks
The Philippines, as ASEAN chair, condemned a deadly airstrike in Myanmar’s Rakhine state that killed 50 people and wounded dozens, and offered to facilitate bloc discussions on assistance. Manila said any response should follow ASEAN’s consensus-based approach and support a Myanmar-led solution.
