About Imhotep
Imhotep is the main antagonist of the 1932 film The Mummy, its loose 1999 remake, and the remake's 2001 sequel The Mummy Returns. Sofia Boutella plays a female version of the character named Ahmanet in the 2017 reboot. The character is named after the historical figure Imhotep, a noted polymath and counselor to the Pharaoh Djoser in the 27th century BC.
