About Imperium
Imperium, published in 1993, is a book by Polish journalist Ryszard Kapuściński about his travels to the Soviet Union, and more broadly about his personal relationship with that country. Its English translation was first published in 1994. The book is both a personal travelogue and a memoir, divided into three parts.
