About Hilary Benn

Hilary James Wedgwood Benn is a British politician who served as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland from 2024 to 2026. A member of the Labour Party, he has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Leeds South, formerly Leeds Central, since 1999. He previously served in various ministerial positions under Prime Ministers Sir Tony Blair and Gordon Brown from 2001 to 2010.
