Sir Philip Stapleton of Wighill and of Warter-on-the-Wolds, Yorkshire was an English Member of Parliament, a supporter of the Parliamentary cause during the English Civil War, and a colonel in the Parliamentary Army until 1645. His surname is also sometimes spelt Stapylton or Stapilton.
